Feijoas in Wine

  1. Put wine water and sugar in saucepan, heat and stir until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add feijoas peeled and chopped vertically to pan and simmer until tender (the less cooking the more flavour is preserved) then remove carefully with a slotted spoon.
  3. Mix cornflour and water, then add to red wine and simmer for 2 mins
  4. Pour over feijoas. Serve at room temperature with whipped cream.
